Scarborough Borough Council is looking for two motivated and committed individuals to play a key role in the delivery of its Selective Licensing Scheme for Private Rented Accommodation in Scarborough. Successful candidates will have a fantastic opportunity to lead on this scheme, which is aimed at improving the condition and management standards of around 450 private rented properties.
The role will involve dealing with the administration of the scheme, undertaking inspections of properties, liaising with landlords, tenants and other agencies to ensure that licence conditions are met.
The ideal candidates will have a good knowledge of housing legislation, an excellent approach to customer service and good IT skills. Experience of undertaking housing surveys would be an advantage. The successful candidates will also be required to undertake a full DBS check.
