Box Office Assistant - Open Air Theatre

The post will be 12 hours minimum per week and will be mostly weekends with some evenings and Bank Holidays

£9 Hourly rate

The role will commence on week commencing 1 June 2019

We are looking for a Box Office Assistant who will provide a front of house presence throughout the year. The main duties of the post will be promoting and selling tickets for the Open Air Theatre and other venues, using the Box Office booking systems, completing banking returns, assisting with close-down after events and being alert to issues, accident situations and the general wellbeing of patrons whilst in the venue.
 

The successful applicant will be required to work alone. On main show days this will be beyond the hours specified to fit in with operational requirements. Applicants must have high personal standards and good communication skills as they will be required to work directly with members of the public. In addition good computer and organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential to the post.
